June 28 & 29 - Ann Arbor Summer Festival Top of the Park

JULY 2025
July 12 - Berkeley Street Art Fest
11:00-4:00 on Coolidge Highway between Catalpa and Beverly, Berkley MI
As part of Berkley's day-long celebration of public art which includes a judged chalk art competition, music, food trucks and a KidZone, David Zinn will be creating a pop-up chalk installation on Coolidge Highway in the morning and then explaining his techniques in a public art workshop and demonstration from 1:00-2:30 pm.
July 17-19 - "Chalk the Walk" at the Ann Arbor Art Fair
1:00-3:00 pm on July 17 and 19 at 200 E. Liberty Street, 4:00-6:00 pm on July 18 at Church Street near South University, Ann Arbor MI
Chalk the Walk features Ann Arbor’s own world-renown Artist David Zinn. Recognized globally for his clever and improvised chalk street art, Zinn will be creating his original temporary chalk work live during each day of the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair event now in two locations!
Sidewalk chalk will be available so that fairgoers can join in on the creativity and add their own mark on this year’s Ann Arbor Art Fair.
ZINN HOURS AND LOCATIONS:
(LOCATION 1) Liberty + Fifth Ave.: 1-3PM Thursday (July 17), & Saturday (July 19) - Rain Day Friday same time
(LOCATION 2) Church Street near South U: 4-6PM Friday (July 18) - Rain Day Saturday same time
July 24 - Three Pines Studio Chalk Art Demo and Workshop
1:00-2:30 pm at Three Pines Studio, 5959 W. Levering Rd, Cross Village MI
David shares his whimsical and innovative sidewalk art. Make the world your canvas! Artist David Zinn has charmed millions of followers worldwide with his whimsical and innovative sidewalk art!
David will show you how to create your own ephemeral masterpieces underfoot using chalk, charcoal and an unfettered imagination.
Be prepared to kneel, stoop or sit; kneepads or towels may be useful. All other materials are included. 8+ years old.
Class size is limited, register early. Cost $50 (includes materials)

August 9 - Chalk Art Workshop at Willoughby Chalkfest
3:30 - 5:00 pm outside the Masonic Temple at 40 Public Square, Willoughby, OH
We’re honored to welcome internationally acclaimed chalk artist David Zinn from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Famous for his whimsical and spontaneous chalk creatures, David’s artwork has appeared on sidewalks across the world — from Manhattan to Sweden to Taiwan.
$10 per person workshop fee
