AUGUST 2026
August 23 - Brighton Street Art Fair
10:00 am - 4:00 pm, downtown Brighton MI (demo 1:00 - 2:30 pm)
The 3rd Annual Brighton Street Art Fair will feature 125 jury-selected artists, live music and art making activities all within walking distance to convenient parking amongst the wonderful restaurants and shops of downtown Brighton. David Zinn will be on site all day and creating a live chalk art demonstration at 1pm. His books, prints, postcards, tote bags, and several other items (many not available online) will be for sale!
August 30 - Apples & Honey Fall Festival
2:00 pm - 5:00 pm, JCC of Greater Ann Arbor
This year's fall festival features an extremely special guest! Renowned Ann Arbor street artist David Zinn will be in attendance. In addition to a chalk art demonstration of his three-dimensional appearing masterpieces, David will explain his chalk techniques and philosophies, with a Q&A session to follow.
SEPTEMBER 2026
September 5 - Maxwell Street Art Days
10:00 am - 4:00 pm, Ontonagon MI (workshop 2:00 - 3:00 pm)
The public is invited to grab some chalk and beautify River Street in Ontonagon! This fun and artsy event brings all types of creative minds together, and the results are always spectacular. David Zinn will be creating his trademark "hidden creatures" on site and leading a chalk art workshop at 2:00 pm.
September 18-19 - Amherstburg Uncommon Festival
2:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, 12:00 - 7:30 pm Saturday, Amherstburg ON
Step into a world where steampunk meets magic. Gears, gadgets and enchantments abound at the extraordinary Amherstburg Uncommon Festival!
Dress up in your favorite wizardry or steampunk cosplay costume and join us for a weekend filled with fun. Expect more buskers, live performances, games, vendors & downtown businesses open to serve you and wackier – than – ever fun filled days. David Zinn will be on site creating a live 3D chalk art installation and selling/signing his books, prints, postcards, tote bags, and several other items not available online!
September 26-27 - Fun Sized: A Tiny Public Art Festival
Northampton MA
Fun Sized is a tiny public art festival with a big sense of curiosity! Rather than large-scale spectacle, the festival focuses on small, site-specific artworks designed to reward attention. Visitors follow clues on a printed and digital map to discover fifteen miniature public artworks hidden throughout downtown Northampton. Each piece responds to its surroundings—inviting pause, play, and discovery within the everyday flow of city life.
David and Fred Zinn will be creating an art installation using their combined 110 years of mischievous and light-hearted artmaking going back to their shared childhoods in Michigan!
